Welcome to our 2015 Summer Harvest Share (CSA)……Sign up today!  Winter is a critical time for the farm to invest in the 2015 Harvest. In gratitude for your payment in FULL by December 31, 2014, Full shareholders will receive a $70 farm stand credit; Half shareholders receive $40!

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA is a form of local agriculture designed to directly connect consumers to growers. Shareholders commit to supporting farms and growers by sharing the costs of produce production, along with the accompanying risks (weather, pests, etc.). In a CSA, shareholders commit to share in advance the risks and benefits in the year’s harvest growing season. Shareholders have the opportunity to receive local freshly picked seasonal food, to benefit small farms and the local economy, to become educated on organic principles and practices, and to have the opportunity to have a direct hand in the production of their food through volunteer opportunities at New Harmony Farm.

2015 will be our fourth full growing season at New Harmony Farm, LLC. While we continue to bring in a small percentage of produce that would be difficult for us to grow on our small farm from other certified organic farms in Massachusetts so that our CSA shareholders will continue to have the high quality, freshly picked, certified organic vegetables and herbs that you have come to expect from our CSA with even more variety. New Harmony is proud to be going beyond Certified Organic in our commitment to ecological farming practices and re-mineralization of the soil to produce especially nutrient dense vegetables.

Here’s what our members have to say….

“At first we were not ” vegetableistas” so our first year we selected a 1/2 share.  Joining the CSA encouraged us to eat more vegetables and sample new varieties.  This year we selected a full share and love to “share” our selection with our family and friends. Because everything is so fresh and wonderful – we try to have a veggie only night. We are looking forward to next summer!”

- Marc & Kimberly CSA Shareholders, Newburyport

“Joining CSA this year was my first experience with one. It has been a very good experience overall. Erin has been pleasant and always takes time to answer questions and talk about the produce. She consistently provides recipe ideas and suggestions.I would recommend this CSA to a friend.”
